Call on Commissioner Taylor to work with the planning commission to enact new
guidelines to regulate industrial development in Bartow County!
Our community continues to be under attack by industrial development companies that want to blast near our neighborhoods and ruin the beauty of Bartow by sticking data centers in our landscape. We need to put new rules in place that restrict irresponsible developers from running rampant with NO RULES.
Potential Impacts without Regulations
Your Health and Livelihood:
Quarry blasting could create dust, noise, and vibrations.
Increased traffic due to construction and lack of road expansion.
Wildlife & Nature:
Irreparable harm to federally protected species and habitats.
Will destroy agricultural land.
Your Water:
Impact YOUR well water.
Further minimizes water access to supply construction and operation.
Could pollute vital water sources, such as Lake Allatoona, Stamp Creek, along with Davis Branch and Guthrie Creek.
Your Property:
Home values within a 5-mile radius of these industrial developments could drop by 20%.
Blasting may cause structural damage to homes.
